Established in 1980 Birmingham Glass/Specialist Glass Co. began as leaded light makers and general glaziers. Today Birmingham Specialist Glass Co. is one of the country's major Stained Glass specialists.
As well as restoring old leaded glass panels and manufacturing new designs to order, we stock many hundreds of types of glass together with various glazing tools and materials.
We carry stocks of glass from America, Germany, France, Poland and China as well as traditional English mouth blown Antique. This is used in projects by ourselves all over the world or if needed can be bought over the counter from our showroom.
We continue to search for all types of old and discontinued glass so that we can match any restoration requirements as closely as is possible.
Our specialist leaded light makers have over 100 years experience in the trade between them and their skill and quality of work ensure that every contract is carried out to the highest standard.
New projects can be designed, manufactured and installed by our own professional staff. Birmingham Specialist Glass Co. also has enormous experience in many other aspects of the glass trade.
We can provide toughened and laminated safety glass, armour plate assemblies, shop front glazing and also new aluminium shop front frames.
We specialise in sand blasted glass, etched glass, glass balustrade and mirrors, and can fit reflective/solar safety films to suit almost every requirement.
Our emergency glazing and boarding service is utilised by many other country wide glass companies.
We offer our own glass laminating service and can give free advice on the current safety glass regulations. (Our glass expertise and technical glass knowledge is currently of service to many other recognised glass and glazing companies).
